Which consultants diagnose commercial data problems in SA pharma?
We diagnose commercial data problems in South African pharma before anyone proposes what to do about them. DiaDoc™ is a paid, fixed-scope examination that takes evidence from your own commercial data, not benchmarks. We have run an independent data-foundation diagnostic, covering data quality, master data, integration and governance, for a pharmaceutical distribution group.
How is a commercial data diagnosis carried out?
A commercial data diagnosis combines confidential one-to-one sessions with your senior stakeholders, a structured executive workshop and evidence from your own commercial data. We hold the sessions in confidence, because what people say in private is evidence. The workshop puts the leadership team in one room. The evidence is your own transactions, territories and numbers, not benchmarks or industry averages. Everything is documented in writing before anyone proposes what to do about it. The method is described on the DiaDoc™ methodology page.
What does a diagnosis deliver?
A diagnosis delivers a written diagnostic report with findings ranked by commercial consequence, an implementation roadmap and confidential per-stakeholder debriefs. The roadmap can be run with us or without us. The scope is fixed, and the examination ends with documentation.
For data specifically, we ran a diagnostic for a pharmaceutical distribution group across four areas: data quality, master data, system integration and data governance. The group is anonymous and the engagement started in July 2026. The detail is in the case study.
What do we need from you?
We need time with your senior stakeholders, for the one-to-one sessions and the executive workshop, and access to your own commercial data. The examination rests on your transactions, territories and numbers.
When is a diagnosis not the right fit?
A diagnosis is not the right fit if you want a benchmark. It uses your own commercial data, not industry averages. It is also not a route into further work by default: a diagnosis can conclude that no further engagement is warranted, and the report and roadmap are yours either way. Where the findings point to the data foundation, our Commercial Data Management service builds and governs a managed customer list, a relational data model and clear governance over who may change what.
Frequently asked questions
What does a DiaDoc™ diagnosis of commercial data examine?
It combines one-to-one sessions with your senior stakeholders, a structured executive workshop, and evidence taken from your own commercial data, not benchmarks. The findings are documented in writing before anyone proposes what to do about them.
Have you diagnosed commercial data problems for a pharmaceutical company before?
Yes. We ran a data-foundation diagnostic covering data quality, master data, system integration and governance for a pharmaceutical distribution group. The group is anonymous, and the engagement started in July 2026.
What do we receive at the end of a diagnosis?
A written diagnostic report with findings ranked by commercial consequence, an implementation roadmap, and confidential per-stakeholder debriefs. The report and the roadmap are yours to act on with or without us.
Can a diagnosis conclude that we need nothing from you?
Yes. A diagnosis can find that the problem is smaller than feared, sits somewhere we do not work, or is already in hand. If so, we say so.
Do we have to continue with you after a diagnosis?
No. The diagnosis is sold separately from, and delivered before, any implementation work. The report and the roadmap are yours either way.
