Who builds a pharmacy sell-out data warehouse in South Africa?
We are a South African firm that has built and maintained, since March 2026, an analytics platform with sell-in and sell-out reconciliation for an anonymous pharmaceutical and animal-health company. It comprises 59 tables and 38 views across more than 800,000 rows, backed by 236 automated tests. We work from your own sales and customer data, not a data panel.
What have we built for sell-in and sell-out data?
For a pharmaceutical and animal-health company, we have built and maintained an analytics platform since March 2026 that includes sell-in and sell-out reconciliation. The platform comprises 59 tables and 38 views across more than 800,000 rows, and it is backed by 236 automated tests. It has been through three audits, with all 69 identified issues resolved. The company is anonymous; the detail is in the case study.
Is it a data warehouse?
It stores the data, as a warehouse does, and then goes further. Commercial Data Management holds sales history, the customer master, territory structure and rep ownership in one connected, relational structure rather than scattered spreadsheets, so a question is answered once, against one source. Incoming sales and customer data is reconciled routinely against the master, with the breaks surfaced and fixed. Defined ownership, change control and an audit trail govern who may change what, and every record moves through controlled states, from draft to approved to active to superseded.
A data warehouse stores data. Our Data Fusion Intelligence methodology interprets it geographically: every record is mapped to a zone and enriched with demographic and healthcare context, so the output answers commercial questions rather than sitting in storage.
What do we need from you?
We need the data you already hold: your customer list, internal sales data, CRM extracts and call records, and any syndicated market data you already license. We integrate licensed data within the provider’s restrictions and keep data isolated between clients and between sources. We never require you to purchase additional data to start. Pharmacy locations do not have to come from you: our Pharmacy Network Intelligence service sources pharmacy location and classification data from the SAPC statutory register, open geographic data and open-data facility registers.
When is it not the right fit?
It is not the right fit if you want to buy a pharmacy sell-out data panel. We do not sell one; we work from the data you already hold or license. It is also not the right fit if storage alone is the goal. What we build is a governed, reconciled structure and the analysis that runs on it, because analysis on an untrusted foundation produces a confident wrong answer.
Frequently asked questions
What have you built for sell-in and sell-out data?
For an anonymous pharmaceutical and animal-health company, we have built and maintained an analytics platform with sell-in and sell-out reconciliation since March 2026. It comprises 59 tables and 38 views across more than 800,000 rows.
How do you know the platform's numbers hold up?
The platform is backed by 236 automated tests and has been through three audits. All 69 issues the audits identified have been resolved.
Is what you build a data warehouse?
It stores sales history, the customer master, territory structure and rep ownership in one governed, relational structure, as a warehouse stores data. It then goes further: incoming data is reconciled against the master, every change is controlled and recorded, and every record is mapped to a zone so the output answers commercial questions.
Do you sell pharmacy sell-out data?
No. We work from the data you already hold or license, such as internal sales data, CRM extracts and syndicated market data, and we never require you to purchase additional data to start.
Where does your pharmacy location data come from?
Pharmacy location and classification data comes from the SAPC statutory register, open geographic data and open-data facility registers. We do not use any commercial healthcare panel, prescription or dispensing-data provider for that analysis.
